Frozen products use multilayer materials rated for use down to -40 °C: at low temperatures ordinary polymers become brittle, so elasticity is provided by a selected combination of layers (PE, CPP, PA, PET) that keeps flexibility, puncture resistance and reliable sealing even after freezing. The main focus is semi-finished products (dumplings — pelmeni and vareniki).

Formats: Flow-pack — for vegetables, berries, dumplings and semi-finished products; side-gusset bag — for large fills and mixes; vacuum packaging — for shrimp, fish, seafood, meat and poultry. ITAK’s clients include Domashnya Strava, Posad and other brands.

FAQ

✔ What temperature is frozen-food packaging rated for?

Typically down to -40 °C, matching deep-freeze and transport conditions for most food products.

✔ What packaging is used for dumplings (pelmeni and vareniki)?

Most often Flow-pack made of frost-resistant multilayer materials that keep flexibility and strength at low temperatures.

✔ What packaging is used for shrimp and seafood?

Vacuum: it protects the product from oxidation and odours and suits seafood, fish, meat and poultry.

✔ How does the packaging keep elasticity when frozen?

Thanks to a selected combination of polymer layers (PE, CPP, PA, PET) that does not become brittle at low temperatures.
