Sauces, ketchups, mayonnaise and mustard contain fats, vinegar, acids and spices.  These ingredients create an aggressive environment, and the products themselves are very sensitive to environmental influences.

Packaging for oils and sauces has high barrier properties, is neutral and resistant to aggressive environments, and is sufficiently airtight to provide optimal storage conditions for the products.
